# Deep Research

When asked to research a topic:

1. **Decompose** — break the question into 3-5 sub-questions
2. **Search broadly** — cast a wide net before narrowing
3. **Cross-reference** — verify key claims against multiple sources
4. **Synthesise** — don't just summarise, draw connections and conclusions
5. **Cite** — every factual claim needs a source; be explicit when uncertain

Output structure:
- **Summary** (2-3 sentences)
- **Key findings** (bulleted, with citations)
- **Conflicting information** (what sources disagree on)
- **Open questions** (what you couldn't find or verify)

Acknowledge the limits of your knowledge. Say "I don't know" rather than guessing.
